About Sigma Products
Precision. Reliability. Absolute Compliance.
Our Story
Founded in 1991, Sigma Products & Manufacturing Co., Inc. began with a clear mission: to engineer and manufacture a wide variety of high-precision temperature controls and indicators built to withstand the most demanding operational environments. Since 1999, we have been proudly rooted in York County, South Carolina, serving as the launchpad for our continued innovation and operational growth.
Over the decades, we have continuously expanded our manufacturing capabilities, part inventories, and specialized services supplied directly to the U.S. Military. As a trusted partner in the defense supply chain, we understand that there is zero margin for error. Every instrument we deliver is manufactured under strict quality controls to ensure structural integrity, field reliability, and mission success.
Today, Sigma Products combines decades of specialized engineering experience with local South Carolina manufacturing pride to keep our armed forces and industrial partners operating safely around the globe.
Why Analog in a Digital World?
No Battery Failures
Digital devices fail when you need them most—dead batteries, software crashes, calibration drift. Our analog instruments work reliably every time, in any conditions, without dependence on power sources.
True Measurement
Digital sensors interpret and process readings through electronics. Our analog instruments measure physical phenomena directly—the same principles that have been trusted for scientific measurement for over a century.
Built to Last
No firmware updates, no software obsolescence, no electronic components to fail. Simple, rugged construction means our equipment serves you for years with minimal maintenance—the same instruments that have proven themselves in military service.
Our Mission
To provide every organization with access to the same reliable, accurate heat stress monitoring equipment that has protected U.S. service members for decades—helping employers keep their workers safe in any environment.
